Music Consultant to Dr. Zamanian, CEO of DPI. Developing custom curriculum for middle school, high school, Montessori and creating music learning software. Includes authoring, collaboration with coders, PR, and Marketing. Currently serving as Committee Chair on the Board of Directors.
 
Private Voice & Piano Teacher, Northwest School of Music                 2019 – 2021
 
Maintained a studio of private voice and beginner piano students, in Austin, Texas. 2 recitals per year, 7 years-adults. Converted and trained the faculty on the switch to Virtual lessons via skype during the pandemic.

Taught voice lessons to 26 students per week. Hosted 2 voice recitals per year. Prepared for Region and Solo and Ensemble.

Taught voice lessons and beginner piano. Developed “Explore Music ” summer camps. Experience with children as young as 2.5 years old. Prepared students for 2 recitals per year, various talent shows, All-State choir, and community service (nursing homes) concerts. Experience with special needs children.

Extensive experience in “Harmony Road” early childhood music piano program. Musical birthday parties, private and group voice lessons and beginner piano. Developed “Musical Discoveries” summer camps. Prepared students for 2 recitals per year, various talent shows, PMTA competitions, Carnegie Hall Royal Conservatory Achievement Program, All-State choir, and community service concerts. Engaged parents in conferences each semester to discuss progress reports. Taught additional classes at Guthrie Gifted Education, Plano.

Music Director & Choir Director, Starwood Montessori                      2011 –  2013


Developed curriculum for 14 classes and taught 400 students per week. Created lesson plans for children ages 18 months to 13 years old. Directed 2 recitals per year, utilizing recorders, hand bells, instruments and singing.


Director and Founder of “Neat Beats”                                     Jan. 2009 – May 2011


“Neat Beats” afterschool children’s music program at John Calvin Presbyterian Church was a non-profit 501(c)(3) program. The Director’s responsibilities included developing the program, curriculum, lesson plans and hiring and training teachers. Maintained a balanced budget and collected tuition. Directed 5 concerts a year and 2 benefit concerts to raise money to sustain the program. Completed 60 hours of children’s education training through the Dallas Choristers Guild.
